At our Chesapeake dental office, we use high-power Global microscopes to enhance the precision of patient care. Dentistry is micro-surgery. Dr. Cranham utilizes a microscope similar to the ones used by ophthalmologists to ensure precise fit and finish of dental restorations.
Many dentists use drills, but these noisy, air-powered handpieces often don't rotate smoothly. Dr. Cranham uses electric handpieces for extraordinarily precise fit of crowns, veneers, and fillings. This type of equipment also produces less vibration, noise, and discomfort than traditional drills.
