Growing up in pastor's home, didn't exactly lend itself to a huge income for our family, so when it came to braces and dental work, my parents looked at my brother and I and realized that his teeth needed much more help than mine. Not really thinking much of it, I continued to live my life, never really being completely happy with my smile...until now.
In late July of 2008, I decided to audition for the eighth season of the hottest television
show in the US — American Idol. After making it through the Hollywood round, I came home and decided that I needed to be the best me possible if I wantedto pursue this career as a professional singer, .American Idol or not! That is where my new family at Dr. John Cranham's office came in.
With the help of the amazing staff and Dr. Cranham himself, they helped me to come up with a plan of making my smile perfect for me and I haven't stopped smiling since. When I graced the stage as a top 36 contestant on American Idol, not only the judges, staff, and other contestants noticed, but America saw the change .and what they saw was the glow on my face the confidence that I sang with and the self esteem that I now carried because I had a smile to be proud of!
